Services

Developed by Central Alliance, Sight Automation offers expert domain knowledge and consultation service designed to provide services to meet the specific needs of your project. With an expert team to guide you through installation and telemetry options for a wide range of instruments and telemetry.

Since its official launch, many large flagship ground investigation schemes and environmental projects have been migrated to our in-house developed monitoring portal which processes over 100,000 transport messages per day.

Sight Automation aims to reduce the requirement of manual monitoring to make sites safer and more more environmentally conscious.

What are geotechnical water level sensors? Geotechnical instruments used to measure the groundwater or on the surface in water bodies.

Most instrumentation can be installed and configured by Sight Automation and incorporated into the monitoring portal. Sight Automation supports various telemetry transport protocols, including MQTT, FTP, and HTTPS, allowing the integration of third party instrumentation where required.

Data transfer to clients is handled through a range of communications, with an online portal available to engineers and project managers.

Internet of Things Telemetry

These cutting-edge technologies offer unparalleled advantages in terms of data collection, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. By leveraging Sigfox's low-power, wide-area network, we can seamlessly connect geotechnical sensors in remote and challenging terrains, enabling real-time data transmission with minimal energy consumption. NBIoT's robust connectivity allows for deeper penetration into underground structures, ensuring continuous monitoring of critical parameters. Additionally, LoRaWAN's long-range capabilities enable us to deploy a large-scale geotechnical monitoring network cost-effectively. As a result, Sight Automation can offer comprehensive and accurate geotechnical insights, leading to improved safety, enhanced decision-making, and optimised infrastructure management for our clients.

Our goal: To provide geotechnical and environmental remote monitoring of infrastructure and earthwork assets that is cost-accessible to our clients whilst reducing the requirement for in-person inspection that otherwise places operatives at risk.
